Use your own energy when you need it
A battery can store surplus solar electricity and make it available later. Its value depends on when energy is generated and when it is needed. We assess this relationship using the available operational and consumption data.

Account for loads and connection requirements
Additional loads can place greater demands on electrical infrastructure. We assess whether storage can form part of suitable load management. The economic case for limiting peak demand is evaluated against the load profile and the applicable connection and billing conditions.

Balance operational optimisation with reserve capacity
The same stored energy cannot be used without limit for both normal operations and backup reserve. If the battery is also intended to support backup power, the operating strategy defines the reserve and priorities.
